I know exactly how you feel, like brotherdan says we all went through that feeling. You will get over it and move on with your life. Even if like me you can't get out yet you can still be free in your mind and find satisfaction in working against them in some other way. I tell everyone I know outside that it is a cult and I no longer feel as they do. Also I throw away every bit of literature I can get my hands on, maybe we can hurt them financially. Keep searching you will find happiness on your new journey. stuck in

The sad thing is that for the most part it is only the JWs that they will help all others are collateral damage. I remember at 9/11 they locked the doors and wouldn't let anyone in despite the fact that people were suffering right there on the Brooklyn bridge. So sad no feeling at all for the fellow man. Shunning to me is so convoluted, the rank and file is taught that it will help to gain the person back to Jehovah so of course they try to follow direction. When in reality it is to keep you the Dfd one away from others for fear of causing more disruption in the organization. It is a very sad sad state that this religion is in. I have said this before but how ashamed I am to have ever participated in the disfellowshipping of many people except for the one pedofile that was thrown out never to return. That said I think things will change and they will be forced into making some kind of concession.
You can not continue to trample on peoples civil rights forever, it is going to get them before too long. What all of us need to do is continue to spread the truth about the truth, that will now be my mission in life until I can not do it anymore. stuck in

"Field Service Groups" are more important now than ever before?

this past week, the field service group leader/commander/overlord/whatever made a pretty lengthy announcement that, going forward, the field service groups are going to be of the utmost importance as we wind down towards the end here.
while no indication on when this end might actually be, it was hinted that we might not always have access to the congregation proper and that the few families that are part of the fsg would have to become close knit that they might depend on one another when things get ugly.. i haven't read everything that has passed through the wbts' sphincter lately, but did i miss something?

I agree. It is the same bs I have heard all of my life. In the 60s they changed the name of the book study group to the rendevous and said that it was like your own little congregation so that when persecution came you would be closer. What bull s.
